Belize Ground Shuttle Terms and Conditions
Thank you for choosing Belize Ground Shuttle for your ground shuttle needs! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and apply to all reservations made through our website, phone, or email. By making a reservation, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Reservations:
- To reserve a shuttle, you must provide all necessary details, including your name, contact information, number of passengers, pickup and drop-off locations, date, time, and flight number (if necessary).
- Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment.
- This shuttle service is shared and may include other passengers
- Shared shuttle services are subject to schedule changes. We will provide updates via email or text/WhatsApp.
Shared Rates:
Our shared shuttle service offers two rate options:
1. Standard Shared Rate: This is the default option and guarantees a departure time for your group size. You will pay a set rate based on the number of people in your group.
2. Discounted Shared Rate (Limited Availability): This option offers a lower fare but comes with some flexibility requirements. It depends on potentially filling the remaining seats with passengers from other bookings, and may be subject to adjustments:
Departure Time: Your departure time might need to be adjusted to accommodate other passengers' flight schedules or unforeseen circumstances like weather delays. We will make all reasonable efforts to notify you as soon as possible of any changes.
Group Size: In rare instances, if there aren't enough passengers at the discounted rate to fill the remaining seats, you may be required to pay the standard shared rate for your group size to proceed with the trip. We will notify you as soon as possible of this situation and offer alternative options, such as:
- Accepting the new departure time.
- Upgrading to the standard shared rate for your group size (subject to availability).
- Canceling your reservation and receiving a full refund.
Payment:
Full payment is required at the time of booking. We accept the following payment methods:
1. Credit Card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
2. Debit card
3. Local bank instand fund transfers (Locals)
Standard Cancellations and Rescheduling Policy
Cancellation Policy:
Full Refund (minus 3% credit card fee): Cancellations made 24 hours or more before departure time.
No Refund: Cancellations made within 12 hours of departure time or for no-shows.
Rescheduling Policy:
Rescheduling requests generally require a minimum of 24-12 hours notice.
No additional fees apply for rescheduling to a different time on the same day once you paid the guaranteed shared rate for your group.
Rescheduling to a different date will be considered on a case-by-case basis. An additional fee may apply depending on availability.
Disclaimer
Unexpected delays: We strive to provide a safe and reliable service. However, we are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control, such as traffic congestion, weather conditions ect.
Disruptive or abusive passengers: We reserve the right to refuse service to any passenger who is disruptive, intoxicated, or poses a safety risk. are not qualified for a refund once service is refused.
Natural Disasters or Illness: If your travel plans are affected by a natural disaster or illness, we understand the need for flexibility. To qualify for rescheduling or a refund, please notify us at least 12 hours before your scheduled departure.
Refund Timeframe: A refund takes 3-10 business days to reflect on the orignal form or payment.
No Shows: Passengers who don’t notify us at least 2 hours before their scheduled pick-up or are 15+ minutes late without notifying us.
